More and more people be turning to them for educational and entertainment purposes. Leapster is one of many companies development exposure games to teach kids vocabulary, spelling, reading, and writing. So why is it that we blame picture games for corrupting our youth? For those children that know that this behavior is not acceptable, the repetitive use of rage in these games instills an automatic response of violence when uncovered to certain stress situations.



The ESRB rates and sets restrictions on all video games produced, some of these restrictions are which audiences are ceaseed to purchase and play these games such as the grand theft auto series is rated M for Mature, which means anyone under the age of 17 is not allow to play or purchase this game because of excessive violence and scenes of sexual nature. Yet still many young kids are playing this game. Why is this? Because most parents are unaware of what subject these games contain. There are many solutions to this problem, the easiest of which is for parents to take the time and go to the ESRB web site and research what games and ratings are appropriate for their childrens age.
