Genes are hereditable biological traits that are passed on from parents to their offspring from generation to generation. The specific inherited traits from our parents carry sure diseases or characteristics that are passed on thru genes. They are segments of DNA that are needed to contribute to a persons function.
Our genes teach all of our physical characteristics. Some even believe that they can also determine our psychological characteristics as well. This is probably wherefore scientists feel that using the gene therapy techniques may be the issue to reduce if not eliminates some of the genetic diseases or deficiencies.
