I am directed to refer to subject noted above and to enclose a copy of report dated 15-07-2010 stock from Additional Inspector General of Police, Special Branch, Lahore wherein shortage of urea fertilizer has been observed in different districts.
2.The oldtimer Minister, Punjab has desired to ensure the availability of urea / fertilizers in all districts on priority basis and action taken against those who are selling fertilizer at higher rates and indulging in opposite illegal practices.

The report regarding the action taken may affable be submitted for the enounces / perusal of the Chief Minister, Punjab at the earliest.
