ABSTRACT
Due to Verizon wirelesss lack of a consistent indemnity regarding in-person internet use in their body of work, implementation of computer supervise has become a necessity. This report was organized out of inevitableness and examines the difficulties encountered by Verizon Wireless when employees ill-treatment company possess computers for private use. Based upon research about employees misuse of company owned computers, approaches are recommended for dealing with worries over productivity, lawsuits and piece of work disruption.

INTRODUCTION

Verizon Wireless recently suffered a horrendous amazement through various media outlets. The media exploited the mismanagement of employees personal workplace internet use.



Although this did not create any legal ramifications, it has created only when cause for the implementation of computer monitoring and a victorian internet use policy. This report examines the difficulties encountered by Verizon Wireless when employees misuse company owned computers for personal use. Research indicates companies that do admit limited internet usage at work represent increases in productivity and decreases in workplace disruption. Verizon is considering a policy which better defines proper personal internet use rather than completely exterminating its use.
