As our text book states field of honor is a living, real-time burden in which performers and auditory modality mutually interact (page 16). The T-Mobile dance film was a perfect example of this statement by Cohen and similarly how theatre is a cooperative experience that requires both audience and performers. The flash mob dance would not have the same(p) draw to the artists if it did not have the audience to encourage and fodder the performance. The audience in this video was the rest of the people in the subway who were not taking part in the collaborative dance. Without their involvement then it would have been full a work party of people doing a dance. While it did require a attraction of skill on the performers part, had they just through it alone in the studio it would not have been theatre without the audience.

The shroud call serves as a multi- faceted tool to the theatre, both to the actors and to the audience.
It serves as a surrender point for the play so that the audience knows that it is over and to the actors so that they may come out of character and be themselves again. It alike serves a purpose to both actor and audience as a time to give each other mutual respect. The audience can show its appreciation for the craft they just witnessed and the actors show their appreciation to the audience for enjoying the performance and of course give to see it. I feel that in video 3, the curtain call was much needed for both sides again. The play looked to be very intense and had lots of costumes and makeup.
