In this essay I will compare two theories of discipline to answer the point can these two theories help me to understand human development in regards to my early life? I will attempt the essay by explaining my understanding of Bowlbys and Ainsworths attatchment theory on base Rogers person centred theory of Personality development and whence linking these two theories to my own childhood socio-economic classs from infancy to about 7 years old, in this time I vividly recollect two traumatic events occurring in my life, outsetly having to be hospitalised at a young age and secondly literally being taken from my primary carers, my grandparents and the ongoing consequences of this. I resolve with how the two theories either complement, help or dont help me to make sense of my early childhood experiences.
