While this is not a call to appoint a chairman who forget be an advocate for the Niger Delta cause, President Umaru YarAdua must also suss out not to appoint a Chairman who has a tale of resentment for the Niger Delta people, because it will be hard to think that he will not go to the summit to further criminalise the agitations of the Niger Delta people. The Federal Government must consider appointing a Chairman who is, in the least, dispassionate about the Niger Delta cause, and has a proven go in of integrity and commitment to issue of principle; indeed, someone who will be seen to be just and fair. Professor Gambari does not assemble the bill and this may well spell the doom of the summit before it even takes off.
