In this essay I will be discussing two disease, namely diphtheria and polio ,along with how it affects people in polar parts of the world.The term childhood disease is disputed because close all diseases children contract can too be contract by adults, children can also catch diseases not categorise as childhood diseases. Both diseases here can be prevented through vaccination, but it varies between countries, growth countries like the Netherlands which countenance a stable economy can afford to give away vaccines free to newly born children, while in developing countries such as India or Pakistan which have quite a large population living in poverty and a not so stable economy cant afford to vaccinate everyone.These countries have a higher mortality rate rate than developed ones because of this and the fact that in rural communities hospitals a few and far between.In this essay will show how the two diseases work, how they infect people and the effect of them in different countries.
