Myself as a Writer I am not, by each means, a Shakespeare, Stephen King, or John Grisham. It would take terrific amounts of time, practice, and effort to be considered a long shot at a Pulitzer Prize. Yet, I intend to progress my writing by setting to a greater extent achievable goals, building on sassy ideas, and developing new skills. Also, I will use the advice of instructors and peers, and conduct from previous writing experiences to mold this and future writing experiences. When I sit down to write, I must do so in a clean, well-organized, and well-lit area.
The space must be destitute from distractions, such as the television or radio, so that I am able to focus and gather my thoughts. I care to begin my writings similar to the way William Stafford says he starts, "To nourish started I will accept anything that occurs to me." Writing down any thought that will help support and provoke more thoughts and ideas.
