When one is given a topic like, the worst holiday I ever had what is expected of the writer is to describe the holiday in detail and what made it to be the worst holiday. The writer is supposed to explain what happened during that holiday systematically. The writer is expected to show the events and the emotions that took place on that holiday.
If something bad happened to him for example, he got into an accident and had to be hospitalized, that is exactly what is expected in the essay. If the person lost someone close to them, the writer is supposed to put all those feelings of sadness and grief into the essay.
